Pool & rule

One entry was awarded for every single Dubai bar sold (3.5 oz Dubai 37% Cocoa Milk Bar, SKU 041639021011). A buyer or seller who moved three bars therefore held three entries. Online quantities used the net quantity, so cancelled or returned units do not count — a cancelled test order (net 0) was automatically excluded.

Sources consolidated

Paper fundraiser orders (credited to the salesperson/seller, with their group) were combined with online Shopify orders (credited to the buyer/customer). Because paper and Shopify use independent order-number sequences, matching numbers across the two are different orders, not duplicates — so nothing was double-counted. Paper orders were also de-duplicated by order number.

How names were drawn

All entries were pooled into one weighted list (one slot per bar) and winners were chosen by sequential weighted random sampling without replacement, driven by a fixed, reproducible random seed (20260624) so the exact draw can be re-run and audited. The grand prize was drawn first, then the ten runners-up in order. After each win, that person was removed from the pool, so no one can win more than one prize.

What “Name refers to” means

For online orders the name is the actual buyer/customer. For paper orders the name is the fundraising salesperson (seller) — paper order forms record the seller, not the buyer. For privacy, winners are shown by first name and last initial.

Technical note on the odds: winners were drawn by sequential weighted sampling without replacement (seed 20260624). The published win probabilities were estimated separately via a 200,000-trial Efraimidis-Spirakis Monte Carlo simulation (each person assigned key U^(1/entries); the top eleven keys selected) — mathematically equivalent to the draw but faster to run at scale. The simulation only estimates the odds and did not determine the actual winners.
